#28 Rich Parisi
Rich Parisi is one of 11 new players to the Loons.Rich
quickly became our leadoff hitter with his speed and great bat. Rich hit well
over .400 most of the season and had many stolen bases. In left field, Rich has
been nothing but solid making all routine plays and many great ones. When needed Rich has played all outfield positions, which makes him
a true asset.Every team has that player who never quits in 2009 that player was Rich, when in the 1st game of the playoffs he was hit on the elbow by the first
pitch. He played all nine innings only to find out the following Wednesday he had fractured his elbow.
